Thank you for opening an issue. Since this is happening on a Thelio, have you opened a support ticket about the issue yet?
Do you see any output in sudo journalctl -f
or dmesg --follow
when the mouse freezes?
Thank you, just filed a support ticket. There hasn't been any entry in journalctl when the mouse freezes.
I have the same issue in my desktop! I'm using two mice too. One Logi Vetical Mouse wireless and one Redragon Storm wire and in my wireless mouse the cursor is freezing randomly
I'm currently using NVIDIA RTX-2060, 24GB RAM and Intel i5

@rhuanlima The initial report here sounded like both mice were affected by the issue. You're saying your wired mouse is not affected and your wireless mouse is? What kind of wireless connection does the affected mouse use?
I am having the same problem.
I have one USB wired mouse (generic Dell) and one wireless Logitech MX Master 3. The MX3 cursor randomly freezes while the wired USB works fine. FYI If I unplug the wired mouse this still happens. I have the wired because sometimes it gets so bad I have to use the wired mouse.
The MX3 mouse had been working fine for a long time so some update along the way seems to have caused this but unfortunately I am not sure which as I install system updates frequently as they come in.
Nothing in dmesg or journalctl when freezing occurs.
I am currently using NVIDIA RTX-3070 Ti (driver 515), 24GB RAM and Intel i7

So far, it seems to happen randomly and nothing seems to appear on dmesg.

One mouse was wireless (Logitech MX Master 3) and another was wired (Razer Naga Chroma). When using Pop OS, the mouse will lock up, or sometimes it will only allow movement along the Y axis. Unplugging and re-plugging the mouse will fix the problem temporarily. I have attempted to reset GNOME using
dconf reset -f /
but this did not help. I ran htop to see if a process is operating at 100% CPU capacity, however the mouse has frozen both during heavy and light loads.I'm currently using NVIDIA RTX-3090, 64 GB RAM, and a 32-Core AMD Threadripper.
Steps to reproduce (if you know): Not known.
Expected behavior: Mouse is expected to respond to x and y coordinates of the mouse, not freeze randomly.
