[Lenovo t14] Login window blank when booted with only external monitor via docking station #2254

Distribution (run cat /etc/os-release):

Issue/Bug Description: After rebooting the laptop when the lid closed and connected to the external monitor, the login window appear doubled. Laptop - Lenovo t14 Monitor - Dell - S3220DGF 32 Docking station - Lenovo dock 2

Steps to reproduce (if you know):

  1. Connect a monitor to the docking station
  2. Connect the laptop to docking station
  3. Close the laptop lid
  4. Reboot the laptop
  5. Issue will appear 1647772090327

Other Notes: Working well on Ubuntu vanilla

Issue verified. The following issue appear for my Dell - S3220DGF 32 monitor only, which is 1440P. When at work, we use 24" dell monitors with Full HD the following issue didn't happen.

We can assume that it somehow related to the resolution, when it's higher than full HD (1080) we get the behavior in this ticket.
