Same XPS Model as @gwaramadze
Same here, not sure if related but my cursor also flickers only when inside the laptop screen, when I am connected to any additional display.

): Doesn't seem to be related to an application.Issue/Bug Description: After about 30m of using my laptop (Dell XPS 9720, i7 12700H, Nvidia GTX 3050 Mobile, 32 GB RAM), the touchpad just starts going bonkers. I'll be moving my finger around and try to click somewhere on the screen and the cursor shows up in a completely different position on the screen right when I click. Also it becomes very slow, as if the cursor speed was lowered to the minimum (I keep it around the default medium speed) and the acceleration was turned up. I don't have an external mouse to experiment with at the moment, I'll try one later.
Steps to reproduce (if you know):
Expected behavior:
Other Notes: This doesn't happen all the time, just every once in a while. I always shut down my system at night and use Sleep throughout the day. Whenever it happens, I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary, just some programming and might have a couple VMs running. Restarting doesn't fix the issue. I also tried something I saw in a post (press Alt+F2 to run a command and run the command
r
, which seems to be some kind of reset command maybe?) to no avail.xinput
