note: this doesnt happen when you for example ran: echo $VERY_LONG_VARIABLE (put very long variable here ex. klfdhsfasdgjkfdsgfukwetydgwbqneasdjkfgekjatfqiuwe) when you resize it, theres no problem. this only happens with the directory thing (ex. example@pop-os:~/exampledir/verylongdirname/hello_world/build/library/files)

Issue/Bug Description:
Weird glich with the terminal. The text thats currently in the terminal gets copied over and over when resized until the window is smaller than the line of text.
