Usb bootable drive only shows cursor after booting #445

I have gotten a new Dell XPS 15 9570. And I want to dual boot Pop OS on it. But i can't get the install usb drive to boot. I have created a PopOs 18.10 usb drive but when I boot to it my screen only shows the cursor (a single underscore).

Just to sanity check myself I plugged the drive in a other laptop and it starts up fine. I also created an Ubuntu drive and it boot up just fine.

Does anyone have any idea's or suggestions?

Sounds like an issue with the NVIDIA graphics driver. There are a number of possible causes, but you may want to try redownloading and reflashing a new NVIDIA ISO, or perhaps booting with nomodeset.

I have just tried this again with the 19.04 release I still have the same issue. @mmstick how do I execute an USB stick with nomodeset?
