Black box around adwaita windows on wayland

(1) Issue/Bug Description:

There appear to be a large black box/border around adwaita windows when using wayland, and Gnome 47.

(2) Steps to reproduce (if you know):

So far the only information I have is above

(3) Expected behavior:

No black boxes

(4) Distribution (run cat /etc/os-release):

EndeavourOS

(5) Gnome Shell version:

47

(6) Pop Shell version (run apt policy pop-shell or provide the latest commit if building locally):

Latest

(7) Where was Pop Shell installed from:

aur: gnome-shell-extension-pop-shell-git

(8) Monitor Setup (2 x 1080p, 4K, Primary(Horizontal), Secondary(Vertical), etc):

Single screen, framework 16 laptop, amd

(9) Other Installed/Enabled Extensions:

I tested will all other extensions disabled and the issue persisted

(10) Other Notes:

Screenshot showing the adwaita window (extensions) having the issue, but the other presumably regular gtk window is fine
