Some Flatpaks have add ons for running/using the application that are optional, e.g. VLC, Steam, etc. Gnome Software shows them and allows you to install them along with the main Flatpak package. Pop Shop should also show the version number of the add on, automatically select the correct version and automatically upograde the add on version if the main App package changes (example: from runtime 21.08 to 22.08).
