This situation is just for general comprehension and better understanding for (new) users about Pop Os's GUI program. I want to clarify that nothing is broken per se imo.
Here it is clearly indicated that the pop shop has pending updates to be applied.
But when the actual program is opened in-screen and focused, no icon is labelled as "click here to update" or something alike.
This does not mean a disruption in the general behaviour of the OS but a minor potential improvement on its comprehension.
