With this change, it will use the native PS/2 events instead of WMI. A reboot is required after install to activate the new settings.

Causes issues on galp3c because two airplane mode events are being called.

I don't think this specific change did that. Check with a fully updated Pop please

Airplane mode toggles back and forth on the oryp5 in Pop!_OS 18.10 but not Ubuntu 18.04

Tested this with Ubuntu, installing xkb-data from proposed as well as this patch and functionality works as expected across oryp5, galp3-c, and serw11.
