Recently learned about a new tool that many are claiming that it is increasing their battery life.

It seems to work by monitoring system load and dynamically altering CPU frequencies based on that. Basically what the ondemand profile should already be doing, but I suppose isn't doing it well enough, and works with all processors.

I had this installed and ended up using more battery. The thing here is that you might want to be in Battery Life and for example watch a video, which this tool will detect as heavy load and enable settings such as CPU boost. This defeats the purpose of having Battery Life mode.
