Stuck on splash screen #308

Issue/Bug Description:

Stuck on splash screen

Steps to reproduce (if you know):

I installed system76 power via the instruction on this link https://support.system76.com/articles/graphics-switch-ubuntu/. I have a legion 5 15ACH6 and have been running on dedicated graphics as I can not boot into the OS on dynamic. After installing, I restarted the laptop, went into the bios, enabled dynamic graphics, saved and restarted. I saw the grub just fine and selected Zorin. After this I was stuck on the splash screen like I was before. This is the same behavior as trying optimus. I have a Ryzen 7 5800h and a nvidia 3050ti.

Expected behavior:

To boot into the OS on dedicated graphics.

Other Notes: I am new to Linux so this may be just a simple fix but wanted to reach out in case this is not user error.

This sounds like a distribution-specific issue. Can you confirm that this happens in Pop?
