Steps to reproduce the behaviour

install popcorn time 3.5 arm on one plus 8 with android 11

also i would be nice to be able to change api since there are movies that doesn't appear. and the search engine doesn't work really well. nevertheless some movies load correctly and although i didn't try i guess i could load the subtitles myself

As I know opensubtitles.com for few years now requires that you create account and use the api. Desktop version of Popcorn Time supports login but mobile version doesn't. I hope that changes soon.

Search results depend on what is the language of your device and popcorn itself, and also in what language you search the movie. For some movies it works using the english and for others the original title.

Yes. i saw the desktop version can login opensubtitles, but android version can't. Android version still not have update a long time. Before the film start, sub still load --> this is bug, it shows "loading subs" but no sub load even you wait over hours

Well i try the Top Gun 2022 for example, so app in english, movie in english, when a go to page of the movie is write Loading subtitle but never loading subtitle, i start the movie then i go to choose subtitle and i get no subtitle or custom subtitle, nothing else, thanks

@KolTheBlack version mobile-arm-release-0.3.6.apk is working fine in displaying subtitles for Top Gun: Maverick, can you retry?
