First of all, huge thanks for the packaging of this app ! I like shutter so much. Your package is near to perfection. I only have one little issue : system tray works, but not shows correctly. Here is a screenshot : Capture d’écran de 2020-05-22 12-41-16

The tree dots […] are a replacement of the shutter icon.

I don't know if you can do something about that ? I've some other apps that have sometimes this bug, so I don't know if it's package related or gnome related or extensions related.

Fresh Ubuntu 20.04 Gnome 3.36.2 Maybe related extensions : Dash to Panel, Ubuntu AppIndicators

Thanks again for your great work, I will keep this app and use it whenever I have to make screenshots.

Thanks for the issue report, and the kind words. I love shutter too! :D I will take a look at this, for sure. I'm not a perl or GTK2 expert, so it might take a while, but I suspect it's related to being confined as a snap, and for some reason the icon isn't being loaded. I'll try and figure it out though :D

Heck, I want to rate you with 5 stars at the snap store. Thanks so much for bringing back shutter.

bumping this; I'm in xfce4 / Ubuntu 20.04. Love Shutter! Thanks for your work.

I think it is because system does not have a theme with correct icon, find a workaround $ mkdir -p ~/.icons $ cp -r /snap/shutter/current/share/icons/* ~/.icons

I'm not familiar with snapcraft, so I don't know a proper solution.

@fgggid: Thanks, the workaround worked for me.
