Fix file suffix issues #153

Recent file filter modifications have resulted in no suffix checks being done, 
so can easily end up with concatenated suffixes (suffices?) in a filename.

Fixed v1.1 beta. File suffix issues cleaned up. When saving/loading files, many 
browsers were either appending a suffix without first checking if it existed, 
or else adding nothing even if no suffix had been provided.
