Its really hard to transcribe your wiring or design to another phone without a better understanding of the wiring.

is the microphone going to the arduino or is it to an external pc?

does this use audio out? as in it can be its own stand alone instrument?

Added a diagram of the wiring. Note that not all phones will have some of the features - namely the LEDs, the Redial and Line Switch buttons.

The microphone is wired up to a 1/4" TS jack - basically to be able to plug in an instrument cable. Read about that in Step 6 here: https://www.instructables.com/Touch-Tone-MIDI-Phone/ . The electret microphone in the handset is hooked to the Arduino only to provide power and ground - I used these directions to wire it: http://www.learningaboutelectronics.com/Articles/Electret-microphone-circuit.php

The note data is all transmitted via MIDI, it does not generate any audio itself. That would be a great addition.
