When I have multiple games open at the same time I not longer have mouse control in any of them, whether it's an external mouse of the trackpads set as a mouse

Hi, which version of the plugin are you using ? I can not reproduce this with v0.3.1.

schrammalama commented 1 year ago

I'm using the latest one in decky loader

Ah, right v0.3.1 is not yet on the Default Store channel. Even on v0.2.0 I'm unable to reproduce this.

And you are sure the games are not paused ?

I'm not sure how the plugin could have an effect on the input of apps that are running. Apps that are explicitly paused will obviously not react to input anymore.

Which games do you see the issue in ? I tried with Age of Empires 2 and a point and click adventure.

For what it's the worth maybe the latest version could help ? In the Decky settings you can change the Store Channel to Testing which will allow you to update Pause Games to v0.3.1.

I may have encountered the issue with the lack of input with specific games when they are resumed. I've seen it happen with Citizen Sleeper or Shadows over Loathing, though Shadows over Loathing ends up freezing maybe it doesn't like being stopped and resumed too many times or over certain periods of time.

Most games though continue working without a hitch.

I have been having this same issue for weeks, and just realized it was due to this plugin. After toggling the auto pause options off and back on, the mouse is now working again regardless of the pause settings. I have been unable to recreate the issue since, it seems like toggling all the options completely fixed it for me.

When it was happening, I'd lose the mouse whenever two apps were open at once. Didn't matter which apps/games. Moving the mouse would sometimes highlight stuff on the screen (buttons would light up when the invisible mouse was hovering over them, etc) but I couldn't click on anything. Touchscreen didn't work either. Closing all but one app would immediately restore the mouse in that app.
