Replace optional output switch by field proxy #229

Now that we can define field proxies, I wonder if optional output switch feature could be replaced by using such a proxy. I never used this construction therefore I may miss something but it is worth a try because the construction will be simpler. The main drawback is that proxy links are not shown yet in pipeline GUI.

Seems to work. I keep this issue open since we still have to make the proxy visible in GUI.
