A single quote/apostrophe ( ' ) in the file path will cause a crash.
I had a folder name for a dvd which included the symbol. The video file itself could be added to PG with no problem. However, when adding the dvd cover (located in the same folder), upon dragging/dropping the image; PG would crash.
Tried it multiple times and with a different image within the same folder (to check if the image was corrupt), which made no difference.
Removing the ' from the folder name fixed the issue.
No big deal or anything. I just figured that other people may experience the same issue.
