[Feature Request] - Add Informative Payload to the Carousel `update` Event

With OneUI the PCOM ART teams want to use the Carousel within slider modules. For this we need to implement an analytics tracking on top of the Carousel. To fulfill the basic requirements we need to ask for more information within the dispatched update event.

Here is a list of the information we are missing:

• Direction
  When someone clicked next and goes over edges in rewind mode, we still need to know that he clicked next.
• Trigger
  We need to know what triggered the slide change.
  • Button
  • which button exactly (i.e. button-arrow-next, button-arrow-prev, pagination-dot, ...)
  • what was on the localized aria-label
  • Swipe
  • which direction: left or right or ?
  • Programmatic
    for changes not triggered directly by user action, we need to know
  • which action is responsible (i.e. outer change of activeSlideIndex, autoplay, ...)

Do you see additional information, that would be possible and valuable?

We ask you to implement a payload to the update event, that contains these information.

We should take into account that this kind of events regard also to other components like Flyout, Modal, etc. which have update events.

Hi @DerHannes85 - lets shortly discuss this again. Maybe we can use other Analysis measurements besides GA custom event tracking
