Capture app hangs (requiring power cycle) #1991

Describe the bug.

The Capture app hangs frequently, starting with nightly build n_240311. Possibly related to menu deallocation PR #1971.

Reproduction

  1. Install n_240311 or later.
  2. Turn on.
  3. Run Capture app.
  4. Hit "Record".

Expected behavior

No hang.

For me the replay app did the hang too.
