Consolidation of Shares for ASX #2354

There is a split event but no Consolidation (which may be specific to ASX - ex: 10 shares are consolidated into 1). Need an ability to consolidate not split the shares, 10:1 for example not 1:10 as it's possible currently.

What is consolidation and what is the process behind it? A consolidation is a corporate event where a listed company merges (consolidates) its shares in some pre-defined ratio, e.g. 10:1. A share consolidation is the reverse of a share split which increases the number of shares in some pre-defined ratio, e.g. 1:10.

As far as I remember it's up to you if you input a ratio 1 to to 10 or vice versa. It 's up to you.

I did try that, the historical pricing also got consolidated and calculations were messed up (was showing wrong performance and tax)
