@Nirus2000 I summarized the issue accordingly and hope I am clearer this time.

Description: The problem is the dividend transaction when accompany with the corresponding “payment in lieu” dividend will not match the taxes correctly via Interactive Brokers: Activity Flex Query.

Calculation and Why: DIVIDEND from GDV– 30% Withholding Taxes 10.86 = Credit Note USD 36.9 - 10.86 = USD 28.53 PAYMENT IN LIEU OF DIVIDEND from GDV – 30% Withholding Taxes = Credit Note USD 18.81 – 5.64 = USD 13.17

The difference between GDV(US36242H1041) CASH DIVIDEND USD 0.11 PER SHARE - US TAX and GDV(US36242H1041) PAYMENT IN LIEU OF DIVIDEND - US TAX : They are 2 parts of the same dividend payment from GDV where the later item is caused by some of my GDV share was lend out to others.

Results so far: In attached ibkr_test.xml file, when imported to PP,

  1. the dividend payment of GDV will automatically match the taxes of USD 5.64. – Screenshot_1.
  2. The Taxes for payment in lieu should be the USD 5.64 instead of USD 10.86 (USD 18.86 should be in point 1 above). Screeshot_2

The correct input: The correct import should be:

  1. the dividend payment of GDV matches the taxes of USD 10.86.
  2. The payment in lieu of GDV matches the taxes of USD 5.64

And thanks again for your helps.
