Nevertheless, divvydiary.com provides more (e.g. amounts with 3 decimal digits; "0.142" see here https://api.divvydiary.com/symbols/LU1854166821; Portfolio Performance shows "0.14"). This can lead to differences in the calculation of the total amount of dividends.
Hi,
your understanding is wrong. The information from Divvy is a read only one. Dividends are not calculated based on this information. Either you import your dividend statement from your broker or you maintain the same manually, but never from Divvydiary.
Cheers

I Do not think my understanding is wrong as I do calculate my dividends as you say. Nevertheless, divviydiary.com shows/provides more/different digits than shown in PP.
Best
Data from Divvy are informations only, they are not used for calculations.
When you question the correctness of your broker statement, which is a valid point. You should not rely on data from divvy.

The data downloaded is in some way changed/cut-off/wrong. If there is more correctness, why not use it?
The data in divvydiary.com seems to be more precise than my broker's homepage, but corresponds to the data in my offical papers. The data from my broker sometimes also does simply show 2 digits on their web page (DEKA).
So why not make it better and use the data "as is" with some feature for saying "well just round to 2 digits, show all or whatever". I question the correctness of PP in that point as the data shown to the user is lacking accuracy, by cutting of a digit. ;o) Why not make PP "better" than the broker and simply use the data as provided?
Nevertheless, there is a difference between the data downloaded and shown in PP and the data shown in divvydiary.com. This is not plausible for a user and might cause thoughts, that PP is inaccurate...
Describe the bug When loading historical dividends data, the amounts of the dividends are showing 2 decimal digits. Nevertheless, divvydiary.com provides more (e.g. amounts with 3 decimal digits; "0.142" see here https://api.divvydiary.com/symbols/LU1854166821; Portfolio Performance shows "0.14"). To Reproduce Add the respective asset LU1854166821, add divvydiary.com and update stock data. Then have a look in the events tab of the asset.
Expected behavior Show all digits as they are provided by divvydiary.com (or at least make the number of digits configurable).
