Similar to the iPad question, this is a nice-to-have feature. Android is Java-based, so there will be less need for code rewrites (although it doesn't have javax.sound.midi support, so that's a problem.)

Note that there's some interesting work on MIDI over Bluetooth, based on a hardware design originally by Lady Ada, and with Android support written by one of the PureData hackers. This could be a fast way to get Midi to and from an Android phone or tablet.
