If you press the show/hide calibration button again it should show the camera view transformed into the monitor display in the right. There is also a rotation camera configuration parameter, which if you set to 2 rotates images 180 degrees (see http://www.portugueslab.com/stytra/userguide/5_configuring_computer.html for example). However the calibration should work regardless. We need to improve the UX and documentation of this feature
Ah wonderful thanks that works. Now I see the red dots literally line up with the image projected, it is very intuitive this is great!
I'll keep this issue open until we improve the documentation and UX a bit.
@vilim is this fixed in the latest version?
It's improved only slightly in the units naming, but the workflow should be more intuitive
I am working on calibration as discussed here: http://www.portugueslab.com/stytra/userguide/4_calibration.html#calibration
The red dots in the calibration window show up rotated 180 degrees from the dots in the camera window. Is this OK? Overall the topology of the dots seems to match, modulo the rotation. How can we tell by eye if the calibration worked? Screenshot is attached.
