Footnotes with only pure Chinese characters have extra underlining

Steps to reproduce the issue:

Create a new .pmd document.
Enter the following code in the document:

这是测试文字[^ft1]。

[^ft1]: 这是脚注。

[^ft1]: 这是脚注 1 。

[^ft1]: This is footnote。

What did you expect to happen?

Remove the underline when there are no grammatical errors.

Just to check, you mean a .qmd Quarto file, correct?

If so, I do think this is something that is happening just in Positron:

If I add this bit of text to a markdown part of a Quarto file in VS Code (with the Quarto extension installed) I do not see the additional underline.
If I look at the same file in Positron, the underline is added.
