Deploying always produces a git diff #1802

Demo feedback:

I’ve always found it a bit annoying to include “last updated” date in the deployment records because then you always get a git diff.

If too much stuff changes when you deploy, it starts to feel like a file that shouldn’t be committed, which is confusing.
