14 years ago I believe the carrier may have to do some sort of activation themselves...you're likely out of luck until there's hacktivation :(

I did not have any issues to compile and run it. But it does not work with my iphone 4. Maybe that is just because of my iphone 4 type. I have AT&T locked phone that was purchased as upgrade from Apple.com and after I bought it off ebay. During activation it require to enter current wireless number + last 4 numbers of social security number. Seller will not give me this information. I know that if you buy phone from AT&T directly it itunes does not require to enter such information. Do you know if this ideviceactivation covers this case? I also tried to debug and found that message with iphone information sends properly to apple.com, but receive 0 response (length of response is 0), but curl_easy_perform(handle) returns 0 (that is ok) So I suspect that to activate iphone 4 program has to send something more. Can you give any tips how you found what information apple.com may want to get about iphone? Is it important to have sim card inside or it does not matter or should I have some diffferent sim card?
