Design a logo for PostGeek COS

richardbmx commented 5 years ago

@AlexandreSanscartier Hi, my name is Richard. I'm a graphic designer and I love making contributions for open source projects. I see that they want a new logo for your application. If you wish, I can do it for you without any problem ... I can present some modern ideas that would improve the appearance and image of your project.

@richardbmx Hi, thanks for your interest in our project! 🙂 It would be a pleasure to get some help with our logo! Feel free to send a few designs our way.

@AlexandreSanscartier Starting from the game engine concept I created this logotype which expresses the functions of the project together with the name of the same as you can see it adapts very well as a favicon without losing the base of the design and can be easily used in different backgrounds and colors , I hope you like it if you want some change you just have to request it

@richardbmx Hi, thanks for taking the time to draft up a few designs for the project. It is much appreciated! 😄

I really like the Favicon with the grey gear. The only issue I have with it is the yellow blends in too well with the white background. I did put a grey background just as a proof of concept to see what the results would be. If you have time to fix that up, that would be great. I'd love to use that favicon in our project.

@AlexandreSanscartier Do you want me to put the gray background ?? the same tone of the gear or a lighter tone?

AlexandreSanscartier commented 5 years ago

@richardbmx A different tone would be nice and I just wanted the yellow to be more visible (with the white background it wasn't visible). I thought either changing for a darker yellow or putting a grey background would solve the issue.
