Select File in collection runner always shows same folder instead of last used folder #10603

Is there an existing issue for this?

Describe the Issue

Whenever I try to use a csv data file in the collection runner, I am always directed to one specific folder. I would like to use the last used folder so that I do not have to change to the folder I need every time I want to change the data.

I have tried to search on the Postman Settings, but I do not see any settings that can help.

I attached a video with the issue

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Open Collection Runner
  2. Click on Select File
  3. Change folder to select the file
  4. Open file
  5. Click on Select File again
  6. Here is when you see that the folder is always the same and I need to always change the folder manually

Environment Information

- Operating System: Windows 10 enterprise 
- Platform Type: Windows App
- Postman Version: v9.10.0

Additional Context?

The web app seems to work fine but not the app I have on my work laptop.

I do not have this issue on my personal laptop

  • Platform Type: Windows App
  • Postman Version: v10.6.0

uninstall postman app and remove local data , reinstall app , resolved this https://support.postman.com/hc/en-us/articles/4410785125271-How-to-remove-local-data#:~:text=Removing%20your%20local%20data%20from,select%20Clear%20Cache%20and%20Reload.
