Allow spike testing #12081

Is there an existing request for this feature?

Is your feature request related to a problem?

Currently the options available for performance tests consist of a maximum number of users and also a test duration this only allows for load and soak testing.

Describe the solution you'd like

Would it be possible to add in the ability to add in spikes. This could be in the form of a radio button, that when ticked will ask for the number of additional users, a start and end time for the spike and then asking for a fixed or ramp up as well.

@nhsJim Can you please help us understand the use-case and how you'd like to use the feature you're requesting for?

We have since added a "Spike" load profile in the product, let us know if you have used it and have any feedback.

Hi @shreyas-panduranga, I haven't had any further contact since my call with Malvika. I have moved teams a while ago and haven't done much work with Postman for a while now.
