The 'export' option is missing for collections containing GraphQL queries #12362

Open CAATRV opened 11 months ago

CAATRV commented 11 months ago

Is there an existing issue for this?

Describe the Issue

When you right-click on a collection that has REST requests, you get an option to 'Export' However, when you right-click on a collection that has GraphQL requests, you don't get this option in the menu.

In addition, if you use the option (in the general settings of your user account) for "Export Data" the REST collections get exported, but any collections containing GraphQL requests do not get exported.

Steps To Reproduce

Right-click on a collection with GraphQL queries: there is no "export" option.

I experienced the same behavior here; I'm also using version v10.18.9.

@CAATRV , I managed to export my GraphQL collection by utilizing the 'Request Data Export' option found within Settings -> Data -> Export Data. If you still need to export your collection, I recommend following these steps.

@mudouasenha I tried this but only exported the http ones, any tips?

Request Data export doesn't work; it's not including graphql collections.

This is problematic! is there a workaround?

Thought I was missing something. A warning message would have been nice.

+1 anyone get any updates on this?

Update from support:

"We are tracking this as a feature request, but there is no timeline for this as of now. You can follow our GitHub issue, and once we have an update it will be posted here:"

GraphQL requests are also not available to be shared or backed up via git integration, so it would be worth considering these with this change request
