Snippet validation type - expected count of number of xml elements

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Only a problem for validation. Our product returns xml elements. In some cases, it is important to expect a certain number of elements. Right now, the only way to check is to have multiple "Response body; contains string" snippets.

Describe the solution you'd like Provide a snippet that accepts a numerical value for '# of xml elements expected' then checks the response for that number.

Describe alternatives you've considered Mentioned using multiple 'Contains string' snippets as a workaround, but this is not so elegant.

You actually have a couple of options here. You can use the xml2js or cheerio libraries, which are built-in.

Here's an example of doing this with cheerio:
