postman doesn't opened #9091

Installed last version of postman agent. it doesn't open

Describe the bug it doesn't open

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. install the Postman Agent
  2. Click on icon in tray
  3. nothing to happens
  4. See error

Expected behavior Postman should be opened

Would you be able to provide some screenshots or a short video of what you're currently seeing, please?

I'd like to make screenshot too but I see only icon in the right bottom corner and when I click on it there is nothing happened

It's going to be difficult to advise anything without seeing what you can see without a screenshot or a video.

I had the same experience (MacOS) but it had actually started the application as an icon in the menu bar. No window appears. I think this is the intended response, but more ideally there should be a splash screen indicating that an icon had been added to the toolbar so that the user knows that something happened. Remember that not all icons, and particularly new icons, on the toolbar are visible for users on laptops due to constrained screen width so there may be no visual indication for the user.

Same here. it's in the menu bar, but I can't open it on Mac or Chrome. However, it works well on Safari

On Windows 10 I was having the same issue. Running Postman from the start menu or shortcut didn't do anything, it didn't even seem to open a process when checking task manager. Going to the installation folder (in my case, C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Postman) the Postman.exe still failed to work but going into the app-7.31.0 folder and running the Postman.exe in there did open correctly.
