system not recognizing users #287

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. At http://sparkwi.se/signin/, enter sparkwiseforizabel@gmail.com for the 
email.
2. Enter sparkwisepassword for the password

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is logging into board created after initial log-in (IS THIS THE 
SOURCE OF THE ISSUE? people create boards after logging in from clicking the 
link in the Welcome to Sparkwise but the system isn't connecting their user 
set-up to their activation of the welcome link?).

What is seen instead is an error message and the inability to log-in to the 
account.

What's your browser and operating system?
Chrome 21 and Mac 10.5.8
