Add postgres support #29

This PR enables support for postgresql. And because it's useful to have it automatically tested it also contains travis support (which is why this branch derived from the cleanup-branch, see #27).

If the other PR is merged, the diff here should be much smaller (just containing a single commit). :wink:

PS: It would be awesome if the chef recipe would get postgres support as well

:tada: thank you @chicobico! Did you also activate travis in the repo-settings? In that case travis will check coming PRs automatically.

And it would probably also be pretty useful if you would add the travis badge to the readme.
