To begin with, I think the initial README.md could be extended. Follow some tips on it.
The text should be understandable to a user that knows about clingo but nothing about algorithm configuration.
There should be a clear statements about what is the input and what is the output, at least for the simplest case.
Before an Advanced Example, there should be a Simplest Example explained for dummies.
Say what versions of clingo and of smac are supported.
Add a README in the pcs directory to explain the usage of all those different files.
It is unclear what is the relation to smac, or what the user should know about it to use acclingo. There is a link to the documentation, but it is unclear how it relates to acclingo. For example, are the options the same, or are there any differences?
