1 year ago Ended up getting the answer and it involves setting it up with the Zero IF mode and applying the largest filter, 8MHz, so I guess there would be some roll off in the 8-10 range.
Good afternoon. According to documentation on the SDRPlay site it makes it seem like the rsp1a can view up to 10Mhz wide spectrum at a time. Where I get confused is it’s mention later on down the documentation about IF bandwidth and then also with SoapySDRUtil —probe driver=sdrplay it would lead me to believe the bandwidth is a max of 8. I recall the Sdrplay people may have explained this to me in the past, but I’ve long since forgot.
Is there a combination of settings, sample rate/bandwidth with soapy that will yield a 10Mhz wide chunk of the spectrum being received by the Rsp1a. Asking specifically to see if it can cover the same chunk as shown in the image (front page, scroll down a little) as the hackrf, bladerf etc.
