Which version did you upgrade from?
Which version did you upgrade from?
I think I upgraded from v1.13. It doesn't work when I downgrade either and it was for sure working last week.
Seems like this is a node build issue? Maybe it is not using the hombridge FFmpeg.
Well nothing changed with regards to ffmpeg, or video streaming at all, between 1.13 and 1.14. I saw that you had some comments about using apt-get upgrade that you removed. Did you change anything else about your system?
Yeah I am not sure what sequence of apt commands I ran but homebridge-google-nest-sdm unexpectedly rolled back to v1.13. The stream started working again. After updating to v1.14 a second time, it broke again. I am not able to reproduce that rollback anymore. Installing v1.13 from the homebridge interface doesn't fix it either.
I was able to resolve this by manually running the install command in the ffmpeg-for-homebridge documentation for Raspbian Linux. https://github.com/homebridge/ffmpeg-for-homebridge
I recently updated to v1.1.14 and started getting this error when trying to view the stream for my Nest Wired Doorbell (gen 2). I am hosting Homebridge v1.6.1 on a RPi 4.
This log seems to be where it fails:
[08/07/2023, 22:26:44] [homebridge-google-nest-sdm] [fatal] Unknown encoder 'libfdk_aac' Front door Doorbell
