Potree Desktop 1.7beta app doesn't run on pc without node #11

I've upgraded from Potree Desktop 1.6 to 1.7beta to benefit from the loadProject function, but I can't get it to work when launching from my remote server - I just get the below error. Error: Error creating WebGL context.

1.6 and even 1.7PRE ran fine when launched from the server. Not sure why 1.7beta won't?

I think there's a race condition. I've found that the application works after selecting View->Reload.
