Within the attached patch file you'll find an extension for the MainFrame test 
app which allows to store bookmarks (during a browser session).

Thanks for your review and sorry, but I've titled the issue wrong.
The bookmark menu works with Windows and probably with Linux, too.

So you can test it on your windows/linux machines as well.
