Single response Admin Search results do not set the dropdown box nor allow direct edit of product data #27

Started to try to identify how the process works when an item is searched by item number or word or other search related information such that if a single result is returned that the dropdown is modified to select it. The result is that the information necessary to allow editing the results in place is not made available... Regardless of the search results, the window should work the same way as when viewing the entire list of product and permit editing of the data from the search results page without having to select an item from the dropdown list.

Looking for support/identification/correction as necessary to resolve this issue. Not sure if it is in the ajax, the main php file, or the class file...
