Did some work on redis down where I think it should work now. I created an issue there https://github.com/hmalphettes/redisdown/issues/31 which references two PRs that I created against the repo. Hopefully @hmalphettes is still interested in pulling in and applying changes as I make good use of the redisdown solution.
