Description

A lot of social media have an option to record your voice and send it but sadly not Discord. A plugin with this feature could really enhance Discord. The plugin is basically recording your voice when clicking on a "Record" button, when you are done speaking you can choose to send the recorded audio to the current window (direct message or server) or to cancel the record. Maybe it's a bit complicated to make but I think this is a good idea for a plugin.

Anybody working on such a plugin yet? This would be a really useful plugin, as the 2 BetterDiscord alternatives don't work on Powercord.

I am happy to take on this plugin. Ill spend some time later today to familiarize myself with the concept and maybe have a working prototype by tomorrow.

Oh thanks, LitLeck AKA Möth on Discord had attempted such a plugin in the past, but due to powercord updates MediaRecorder doesn't seem to work anymore (atleast, that's what I believe it to be after viewing his messages and progress on the plugin.)

I'd say to take a gander at the original repo though, potentially may help you. Mic-capture
