ProFont For Powerline Not getting loaded in gvim whereas I can see it in vim / terminal #404

Hello !

  1. I tried downloading the powerline-fonts patched and installed in my linux machine.
  2. Then from the linux apperance setting, I changed the fonts to ProFont For powerline. And bcoz of which I can see the font settings in the vim when I open it in the terminal.
  3. But I kept the fonts in the ~/.local/share/fonts or ~/.fonts and cached with fc-fache etc.. and when I tried to run fc-list I am able to see the font names.
  4. But when I tried to set it in the .gvimrc and load the files, its not showing up and says invalid fonts.
  5. Only those fonts where are showing up in xlsfonts is getting loaded up in the gvim.
  6. Is there anyway I can make it to work in gvim ?
