Problems with latest version #1

Hi, I am having troubles getting it to work on the latest HA version. I'm running a VM under proxmox, ported the USB and managed to install the maxcul plugin. Soon as I configure the plugin and select the USB device HA crashes. I can't realy find a log entry or something so I'm trying to figure out if it's the HA version or proxmox.

Are you running it with the latest HA?

Hello, yes I'm running it with the latest version. But I use a MaxCUL over telnet.. I never checked if it works with USB. Also I guess it could be problematic to run in a VM with USB..

For further investigation I would need some log to see what's going on. But even if the integration crashes it should normally not make HA crash.

Hello again, @h2horn suspects to have fixed your problem, can you try the latest master?

Hi Powerpaul, i have the same issue, but the latest version wont fix the problem for me. I use the usb method to connect my maxcul, but ha crashes if i choose the usb cul in config menu and i have to reboot the vm.

Sorry but without further log messages I cannot say more about it. Also I don't know if USB works well through a VM. From my personal experience it doesn't. :slightly_frowning_face:

Hi powerpaul, can you tell me where i can show for logs? In the log is no information after the ha crash. I am new with ha. The nanocul (maxcul) works great with fhem and iobroker. Thank you for your work!

I have solved my problem. I dont no what is the problem with the USB connection. So i build a WLANCul. Now i can connect the ha Max adapter with telnet and it works. Thank you for the Adapter Paul!
