Hi, what is the license of this project? It says open source, but nothing specific.

GPL? MIT? BSD? Open source, but not free to use? Something else?

kraken.cpp is released under a GPL licence by the notice at the top of the file.

I assume the intent was for the whole project to be released under GPL, but with neither a central LICENCE file nor project metadata it's difficult to say. I think the default is that the single file is GPL licenced with all other files being unlicenced (should not be used).

Given the assumed intention of the owner it's unlikely to ever be a practical issue. And GPL means you cannot use this for many commercial purposes anyway.

Hopefully the owner comes back to clear up the issue.
