How to encode those notes in the edition? Different options came to my mind: 1) <p xml:id="HVVU_05_010"> naladasya gandhamāṃsyā <lb n="2"/>vidalanam udbhedaḥ | ‘atibalaphalavati’ iti ni<metamark function="reference" place="above">1</metamark><note place="footer" type="exegesis">1. ādarśapustake 'pi sadoṣapāṭho nopalabdhaḥ.</note>rdoṣa eṣa pāṭhaḥ | atibalāni mahāprabhā- <lb n="3"/>vāṇi phalāni santi yasmin | amarabhuvi svarge vibhur indraḥ || 10 || </p>

2) Or should the <note place="footer" type="exegesis">1. ādarśapustake 'pi sadoṣapāṭho nopalabdhaḥ.</note> rather be placed at the end of the commentary in the xml file as well?

3) Or would it make sense to create special xml:ids for these notes like it is done for the verses (e.g. <p xml:id="HVVU_05_010p"><note place="footer" type="exegesis">1. ādarśapustake 'pi sadoṣapāṭho nopalabdhaḥ.</note></p>?
