Hi,
I seem to have some issue with my CPAN address, since I didn't get your mail 😢
I'd be happy if someone points to Paws in the CEPH documentation. I personally haven't tested Paws against CEPH, though. I'm open to helping you get that working if you have problems. Right now I have staged this PR https://github.com/pplu/aws-sdk-perl/pull/216, which may be needed to make Paws work correctly with CEPH (it's been merged into the release/0.37 branch of Paws which hasn't been uploaded to CPAN yet).
Please also bare in mind that there are a couple more maintained CPAN dists for talking to S3 that may be worth mentioning in the CEPH documentation.
hello,
the bounce says

i would like to help but i have no experience on those stuff yet. however @johnnwilkins replied to me and i pointed him out the url of this issue.
the file to be changed is https://github.com/ceph/ceph/blob/master/doc/radosgw/s3/perl.rst hth marc
@pplu try updating your forwarding configuration for your cpan.org address on https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=edit_cred
i tried to send this messsage to @pplu on his cpan adress
hello people,
here at renater, we are debating the opportunity to use ceph to store files in our applications and a colleage of mine (not a monger apparently :)) sent me this link
so i checked on metacpan and saw:
the module used in the doc seems unmaintained and the maintainer never uploaded something on pause since 2010. those are not good clues.
pplu's Paws is rated 30 and was updated in 2017 (https://metacpan.org/pod/Paws::S3)
so my question is: should this page be updated with more recent stuff?
regards,
marc
