Japanese doesn't appear in list of languages

*What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Document or Download Documents
2. Select Bible
3. In language drop-down menu, look for Japanese (none).

*What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Downloading the modules from here:

I copied the modules to a sword directory on your sd card. Expanded the module 
so that the .conf file is in sdcard/sword/mods.d and the bible files in a 
subdirectory of sdcard/sword/modules e.g. 
sdcard\jsword\modules\texts\ztext\japkougo. 

However, this method doesn't work as I still can't access the texts since the 
drop-down menu inside And-Bible does not have the Japanese option. Is there any 
way to add the entry to the drop-down menu?

*What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
And-Bible 0.5.07
On Android 2.3.3 (Android Revolution HD 5.2.0)

What you have done should have worked but I have now added the Japanese bibles 
to the main And Bible download list and done a beta build for you here: 
http://and-bible.googlecode.com/files/AndBible-0.5.08beta-Jap.apk

So i) remove your additions to the jsword folder ii) install the new And Bible 
build onto your Android phone iii) download the Japanese modules from And Bible

Can you let me know if the Japanese modules look fine to you?

If you would you be happy to localise the And Bible user interface into 
Japanese then please let me know.  It would probably take a few hours.

Thank you for your quick reply!

I installed the beta apk you provided and was able to download the Japanese 
modules. 
Yes, I can confirm that the Japanese module "JapKougo" works fine and looks 
complete. 
"JapBungo" has the complete New Testament and looks fine character-wise. 
The "JapDenmo" module only displayed the new testament and Acts, but after a 
while I got "Error getting bible text: Parsing error". 
However, this doesn't concern me that much, as I only need one complete 
Japanese translation. So this issue is basically solved. 

Me and a couple of friends are interested in the localisation into Japanese, 
but we may not be able to start for a couple of weeks. Would that include: 
translation, artwork (graphics), and coding as well?

Thanks for checking out the Japanese modules.  They need checking because being 
in the Beta repo I don't know what the quality of the modules is and it would 
only be frustrating for users to download modules that are of poor quality.  I 
will remove JapDenmo from the And Bible module list.  If you are able to test 
JapMeiji and JapRaguet I would be very grateful.

We use web software called Amanuens to simplify and manage translation.  There 
is a list of a few hundred short strings that would need to be translated into 
Japanese.  There are no images to convert and no coding to be done as part of 
translation.

The result will be that using And Bible on a Japanese mobile phone will 
automatically give Japanese menus and text.  You can also select a different 
language manually by going to Menu/More/Settings/Application language in And 
Bible.

displaying fine.
